I am one traveler of an innumerable many,
With an undying wanderlust that derives from wanting
To explore, to experiment, to be enthused.
I do not travel in hopes that my globetrotting will bring me my happiness.
Nor do I travel in hopes to escape from reality.
Because I believe that true happiness comes from within,
From loving and accepting yourself,
Just the way you are.
And, any kind of contentment found outside of ourselves
Is temporary, fleeting, and
Endlessly keeps us wanting for more.
I also believe in living a life where reality and "fantasy" are
Nearly one and the same.
Once you stop dreaming dreams that
Society tells you you're "supposed" to dream about,
Real life gets easier. Real life gets better.
This blog is meant to preserve my travel memories
During a time in my life where I truly started loving myself
And truly started to live life as God intended.....
